Krystal & Chima
Krystal never would have thought her need for a calculus book and the existence of a mutual friend is what would end up creating the perfect recipe for her introduction to Chima. They were first introduced in 2012, their sophomore year of college, at the University of Maryland and were instantly attracted to one another. But God allowed that attraction to fade (for a time) and during this time the foundation of an intentional and beautiful friendship was allowed to form and take root in their common pursuit of God and academia. It wasn't until Fall of 2015, that God began to move upon Chima's heart and open his eyes to Krystal being the woman He had for him. Chima spent the next few months praying and seeking out the counsel of trusted and seasoned male believers about the desires of his heart and future intentions. After being at peace with his desires and having a "permission to pursue" kind of feeling in his spirit, Chima revealed to Krystal his heart, intentions, and what the Lord had shown him. Krystal's heart was moved and her spirit filled with joy and peace. She sought the Lord, and the two began courting October 20, 2016. On December 19th, 2018 Chima and Krystal graduated with their Master's degrees, and Krystal said "YES" to a beautifully planned surprise proposal.

BEATRICE & ERIC
We met online, went on a few dates, and enjoyed each other’s company. Early on, neither of us imagined that the casual interest that we had would blossom into the love that we have today, loving best friends!!! Employment opportunities turned the relationship long distance, which made things kind of complicated. We prayed at that time and fasted a few months after to gain confirmation from GOD. After we received our confirmation we started Bruce and Rotoya’s Marriage counseling which has helped us tremendously. Our love grows deeper every day. We are two amazing people who found love by trusting GOD and his process.
SAMUEL & LU

Samuel and I met at BCF outlet for the first time in the summer of 2013. Initially we were just two people in the same ministry. Until we ended up leading together in discipleship. Lu was really attracted to Sam as a friend because of his humor until one day Sam started dropping hints that he wanted to be more than friends. He couldn’t bring himself to say it until one day he finally told Lu that he was interested in me. Of course with the help of mentors we are who we are today.

SAMSON & KATRINA
Samson and Katrina started out as friends. While living and working in Brooklyn, Katrina did a lot of soul searching. She decided to pursue a career in acting to express her creativity. Katrina realized that she needed good head-shots, and fast, if she wanted to book a gig. Although living in New York City, where photographers come a dime a dozen, the only person she could think of to take her photos was her old friend Samson! The day Sam came to take those pictures, they had lunch. At lunch, Samson was charming and Katrina was receptive until she came to her professional senses. She sat back in her chair and remained reserved for the remainder of the appointment. Samson was attracted to and intrigued by this mysterious and funny woman, and although she wanted to know him better, Katrina wouldn't allow herself to show that she was interested. Katrina fought the connection and continuously "friend-zoned" him, but Samson was loving, patient, and persistent! The two began "talking" in September and officially began courting November 29, 2015. On September 18, 2017, Samson asked Katrina to marry him and she said yes! Their wedding is set for July 15, 2018.
TIM & PAULINE

To tell the love story of Tim and Pauline we have to start in 2014 on the campus of the University of Maryland. She was co-hosting a connect group at her apartment and he decided to come. After weeks of coming God began to work on his heart and changed him. Fast forward two years after that connect group and a lot of time around each other through church and an on campus job, God led them to be together. They have now been together for 2 years and they’re so excited to get married on June 1st, 2018. They know God is going to do so much through their marriage to bless the world.

Feyi and Wale’s story dates back to 2004 when a mutual friend introduced the two to one another. Over the years the two would see each other at functions but never imagined or considered anything beyond being associates, until 10 years later. After having a discussion with the same mutual friend about potential individuals Wale could date, Feyi’s name was mentioned but dismissed. Feyi was later notified of the conversation but also brushed it off showing no interests. As fate would have it, Feyi and Wale met face to face at a graduation cookout later in the year, where conversations commenced, phone numbers were exchanged, and thus began their journey of courtship. After 6 months of getting to know one another and seeking the face of God, they made their relationship official, and the rest is history. Feyi and Wale became engaged on November 25, 2017 and look forward to becoming one in 2018.

MIRACLE & GARVIN

Garvin & Miracle's love story began when Garvin learned who Miracle was through a friend. The first time he saw her picture he immediately knew that she was gonna be his wife. He felt confident enough to contact her directly via IG after she told him she wasn’t interested. But before Miracle gave him her number there was something that he did that made her heart soften. Garvin told Miracle that He specifically prayed that God would touch her heart concerning us. Miracle normally doesn't respond to facebook messages but for some reason she felt at peace with replying him with her phone number that day. He called her later that week and they went on our first date. Miracle can honestly say that since she met Garvin, he is the SAME man today. Miracle & Garvin believe they are each others answered prayers. Their journey together has truly been a test of their faith in Christ. It has been beautiful, peaceful and an humbling experience thus far. Romans 8:28
