Who Can Attend ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP?
ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP is designed for couples ages 21-35 that are engaged or courting (w/ intentions to get married w/in 1-2 years). Where is ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP held? Due to the interactive and engaging nature of the workshop, sessions will be held in various locations throughout the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Some sessions will also be held at 1441 McCormick Drive Suite 1050 Largo, MD 20774. Prior to the beginning of the workshop, all attendees will get a calendar with detailed workshop information. Is the ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP Free? ENGAGEMENT BOOT CAMP is not free, but it is worth the investment. We believe wise couples make it a priority to invest in knowledge for your future marriage. Many couples spend thousands of dollars on the wedding day, and neglect investing into their actual relationship. Remember, the wedding is only for a day, but the marriage is a lifetime. What Are Your Beliefs About Marriage? We believe that Scripture teaches the home was the first institution provided to man by God himself. We believe that marriage is a sacred relationship that is between one man and one woman. Marriage is used as a symbol that describes the relationship between Christ and His bride, the church. ( Genesis 1:27 / Genesis 2:18-25 / Ephesians 5:25 / Hebrews 13:4 / Revelation 19:7-9) Do You Have To Be A Christian To Attend The Course? It is NOT mandatory that each attendee be Christian to attend the course. However, each attendee must understand that ENGAGEMENT BOOT CAMP is founded upon biblical principles from the Christian faith. Biblical principles will be utilized throughout the bootcamp to strengthen future marriages. Therefore, the workshop will not be altered to accommodate other belief systems & religions. How Long Are The Hands-On Workshop Experiences? The Fun & Engaging workshop experiences are 1hr and 45 minutes-2hrs. Will My Mate and I Benefit From Group Sessions? YES! The workshop is structured in such a way, that you and your mate will have time to interact with each other one-on-one, and also interact with other couples. This approach has benefited many and has been proven to be effective. Also you will have the opportunity to form life-long relationships with other couples within the class. Should ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP Replace Pre-Marital Counseling At My Local Church? ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP is not your typical PreMarital Counseling. It is a Hands-On Workshop Experience! If you plan to do counseling at your local church, we highly recommend that you do both. ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP can serve as a supplement to premarital counseling at your local church. We believe the more you learn before marriage, the better! If you attend counseling at your church and the ENGAGEMENT BOOTCAMP you will be highly prepared! Why Is The Course Only Open to 6 Couples? We want to provide an intimate environment for couples to thrive in. Therefore, we have limited the enrollment of our course. Spaces will fill up quickly, so don't wait to pre-register. |
